I am currently a junior at DHS and I have really genuinely enjoyed being here! The staff and teachers are so supportive and after a few years it really starts to feel like home! We do not have a severe amount of bullying, not saying it does not happening but we do a good job at keeping at a minimal and are currently trying to eliminate it all together with various assemblies and helpful clubs and organizations that help us.

Would like if the students as well as the teachers were more diverse and welcoming to all cultures, not just their own. Counselors need to start being more understanding and making students feel comfortable talking to them about issues. Supervisors should talk to students nicely and not just always yelling. There’s never food left for last lunch. Office ladies are rude, lazy, and make someone feared to talk to. However, school offers great opportunities to students and has the best teachers. The education is really great and easy to understand. Security guards are always funny and nice even when doing their job.
My experience here so far has been terrible. The administration here doesn't care about you. They actually lost my brother's birth certificate. The ladies in the office are also a part of the problem as they appear be very disinterested in their jobs. This goes for the counselors too. A lot of the students here aren't very respectful (not sure why.) I felt like the mass-presence of students was almost suffocating because of the overcrowding in the school. The facility is very small which makes the overcrowding even worse. Some of the teachers here are very nice, qualified, and make their classes fun. The others are very lazy in terms of grading, and sometimes even teaching. If you're looking for a fun place to learn, this isn't the right school for you. The pep rallies are very boring. This school tries to entertain us but none of students respond to their efforts. There is absolutely no school spirit. Overall, this school is not going to prepare you for college.
