I've only been at De since junior year. I've been to catholic schools all my life so i decided to try another school which landed me at Hansberry College Prep, a Noble school. My grades were great but i didn't agree with the disciplinarian/cultural system so i decided to give De a chance. When i first started at De last year it was kind of a bad start, i wasn't able to play varsity volleyball due to me not training with them since freshman year. It was my junior year and that's the year to get noticed so that put me down. The most serious in the school would be football, basketball, and volleyball and all the other sports are just there. Besides athletics the academics are pretty good we use laptops so all our work is basically online, the school puts the students accountable for a lot. Overall if your involved and put all you time into the school you will be recognized more such as clubs or anything to raise money for the school.

My experience at De La Salle institute was very well, when you walk through the doors you get a feeling of warmness and welcoming. The teachers are very open minded to your ideas and dreams. They support you and get you to the next level in your education. One thing I will try to change is the lack of creativity. We aren’t allowed to dressed the way we want that aspires us. We have a certain dress code that we have to followed and it is very boring. Overall my experience at De La Salle is positive you can tell that they want us to put our best foot forward for the future.
De La Salle is very diverse. It is a safe space where students are often heard. The teachers are willing to help at any moment and keep their office hours posted. The school has a new gym, locker rooms, and field. The people there are easy to get along with. They have AP and PAC programs as well as an honors program. The school doesn’t have to best sports teams but have a really good baseball team. They have a diverse selection of clubs and electives to choose from.
