DCS Montessori Charter School Reviews

The small number of students allows for more one on one learning time with the teachers, which helps the teachers to make sure that each student is really understanding the material. This, combined with each child's ability to work at their own pace, independently, or with a group, make for a perfect learning environment. Another important aspect is that the school, because of it's small numbers, feels more like a community or family than a school. Each student knows the other students, and the teachers know the students as well, an opportunity that would not be provided at a typical public school. The teachers are exceptional, the community is wonderful, and the learning experience is amazing.

The aspect of a child's independence and ability to learn at their own pace provide a perfect learning environment for the DCS Middle School students. From the perspective of a current student at DCS, this middle school is perfectly suited for a young adult, as we are treated as equals in an at your own pace community. All of us are close, and we are all included in one big family, which we can use to get one on one lessons which we would never have access to at a large private or public school.
