I like that they give you as much access to college as possible. Being ready for that time in your life is important. Although that is a good trait, I would love to see the staff take the opinions and feelings of all students into consideration. The health and feelings of each student matters, and none of the work being done will matter if the health of each student is bad. Motivation not only comes from the willingness to work, but happiness and determination. One that lacks determination and happiness is known to work less.

Dayton Early College Academy (DECA) has very good academics. The projects and work is geared to prepare the students for college and often work completed in school is useful in the real world. DECA also prides itself on the personal relationships students have with faculty members. Though personal relationships and academics are good, DECA lacks athletics. This proves to be a big barrier in many athletes daily lives with practices and the heavy work load they must maintain
DECA (Dayton Early College Academy) helped me become more prepared for the college life. They helped me learn how to proper write papers, do PowerPoints, how to manage doing papers and projects that are do around the same time, and how to stay organized. DECA gives us advice on how to survive the college life and what can we do to improve our study skills. DECA also helped us prepare for the ACT and SAT by giving us time after school to study for it and time in class. DECA is big on community service and internships to helps students learn more about what they want to study in college. Overall, DECA is a good school and I would recommend it to any student who is college ready.
