I love Dchs! Love how they are growing but still have the small town feel. If you have a problem and go to administration, you will get a returned call and resolution to your problem. Wish they took more interest in their fine arts as they do their athletics though.

The school is a pretty decent place. Many of the teachers are very friendly and know what they are talking about. The place can be a little hectic at times but not over bearing. We have the nicest track and field in many miles. Sports wise they seem to struggle except for in wrestling. For the most part it is a very happy place with usually some sort of activity taking place. The only person who is not well liked at the school is the principal. He tends to really pick favorites especially basketball players. He's the coach. Other then that I loved my high school experience!
dawson county high school is the only high school in Dawson county! With that being said, I have been going to school with the same people all my life and that's really awesome. If I had to change one thing about Dawson county high school, I would say I would like to be able to check out to get lunch during the lunch track.
