My childhood school, was here from K-5th and had the best experience ever! Great teachers, facilities, curriculum and opportunities. Absolutely would recommend.

2017-18 was our first year experience at DaVinci for our 4th grader and Kindergartener. It was AMAZING! Their grandma, who taught in public elementary schools around the twin cities for 20+ years, even said the kids behaved with so much more respect and kindness than any other schools she has ever taught at. Plus this was DaVinci’s first year in a brand new beautiful building, with adding new teachers, new student expansions with more classrooms and students added. It was impressive how quick they pulled things together, worked out the wrinkles, and my 4th grader went from needing mathematic flashcards to placing into advanced math by the end of the year. They really push kids to their furthest potential! We r DaVinci forever!
There are some great things about Davinci Academy; few behavior problems, small classes, great music program, very caring capable teachers. But, there are also some negatives; opinions seemed to be valued more if either you volunteer a lot or have money, policies that may change without communication, lack of follow through when they intend to start new extra programs, actually less school days because of "optional" intercession and horrible procedures enforced for picking up and dropping off students (I've seen students/parents almost hit numerous times). Students do well, but that in comparison to other schools - they could do much better and go much farther given the involved population that attends there. Doing
just better than the area schools doesn't necessarily say much.
