I had a good time through out my years in this school. It was a very normal high school it was pretty calm and chill for the most part. I attended jordan high school in los angeles, watts. Life here isnt always the best, we are not given the same opportunities as other schools. On my last field trip, schools were given the opportunity to write an essay about water conservation with the prize being up to $500. My school wasn't given this opportunity. My school isn't known for what it is, or even the area its located in. Whenever I mention where my school is located I am replied with, "You live there?! How bad is it?." I am glad for the teachers and staff that work at jordan high school for many reasons. They all have a quality in them that ensures us that we would know them for the rest of our lives.
As an alumni of Jordan High School I would say I had a very good experience at the school, especially my senior year. All my teachers were always willing to help, ready to answer any questions you might have a offered help during and after school. We had really fun programs after school for kids to join and the sport events were a good way for us to have fun all together and watch our school play. The counselors have always been very helpful especially during finals weeks and helping all of us with college.
