I had a good time through out my years in this school. It was a very normal high school it was pretty calm and chill for the most part. I attended jordan high school in los angeles, watts. Life here isnt always the best, we are not given the same opportunities as other schools. On my last field trip, schools were given the opportunity to write an essay about water conservation with the prize being up to $500. My school wasn't given this opportunity. My school isn't known for what it is, or even the area its located in. Whenever I mention where my school is located I am replied with, "You live there?! How bad is it?." I am glad for the teachers and staff that work at jordan high school for many reasons. They all have a quality in them that ensures us that we would know them for the rest of our lives.

I am a Junior at Jordan high School and as a student Im obliged to say its one of the most popular school in US. Im fortunate enough to be here, the teachers staff is pretty good and profisional. The school has different SLCs that one can pick to his/her will. I chose the Medical field because Im more into Nursing Programs. The teachers are brilliant and ready to help any time student requires attention. Apart from that, the school has recently developed a lot; it has created new building with new simulation labs in which students can take there pride. Along with that, the school has introduced new summer programs which offers a student college credits which leads to higher education opportunities.

I am glad for the teachers and staff that work at jordan high school for many reasons. They all have a quality in them that ensures us that we would know them for the rest of our lives. My math teacher, Mr. Chung, who teaches Calculus and Pre-calc, is a hard working and engaging teacher. He makes sure to make lessons easy and that every student understands the material before moving on to a new lesson. He's always staying after school to help those you need it, such as myself. My AP Government teacher makes everything in school enjoyable. He engages in our lives personally and is there when we need a hand. He helps all seniors with personal statements for colleges, scholarships, and personal problems at home. Another teacher at jordan high is my AP English Literature teacher, who has a passion for English like no other. She makes sure to give us the best reading material, even when the school does not have enough funds to get the books she needs, she goes out of her way to buy a class set herself. She also gives us plenty of opportunities to watch plays and go to theatre shows. She is also an engaging and dedicated teacher. During winter break while seniors prepare their personal statements she agreed to meet with us at a mall, including myself, to help and review all of our personal statements. These are just the few teachers at my school that have amazing qualities. The teachers at jordan high go every length to make sure we do what we love and are successful.
