As a graduate from this school I feel like I should explain what it’s like going there. You’ll hear a lot about how the school is technologically advanced and this isn’t really the whole truth. For the most part, teachers don’t know how to use the tech because they aren’t taught properly how to use it and sometimes teachers are forced to use it even if it’s at the expense of the teachers ability to teach or the students ability to learn. That isn’t a knock on the teachers though. There are a lot of teachers at posnack that are top tier teachers and they’re really good at what they do. There is a great sense of community because of how small the school is which is great but it doesn’t help with the lacking areas. The biggest area that I feel needs improvement comes from the higher faculty. They spend more attention to their public image and every detail other than the students. Learning there is not the highest priority and that’s concerning.

Going to a new school is never easy. I transferred to Posnack in 5th grade from New York, and it was a big change. It was a whole new set of academics, and a whole new set of opportunities. When I got to high school, I was not always the biggest fan of their academics. However, I learned to appreciate the courses they had to offer. But the biggest thing that I will always date back to Posnack, are the friends I made. I had never seen such a tight school, that really felt like home. Everyone knew each other's name, and every said hi as you passed them in the hallways. It felt like no matter what, I always had my second home.
I joined this school in 8th grade. I have to say it is quite different from other schools. Both educationally and socially. Social wise, it is a very small school, my class was a class of 40 kids! So basically, everyone knew everyone. Education wise, very easy to learn. Dining hall food is nutritional and is very delicious.
