Dardanelle High School Reviews
Rating 4.23 out of 5 84 reviews
Dardanelle High School had great academics, but lacked in extracurriculars. Comparing it to other schools, there was not many other activities, other than sports and some government clubs, that you could do. I would have liked to see some extracurriculars related to a driving class, or photography, or some other type of art like pottery. The teachers all leave great impacts on their students, and I bet you could ask anyone if they feel the same and they would agree. The spirit of the Sand Lizards was unmatched, and brought everyone together during sport events in fall and spring. It was an experience I wish I could go back and re-live in a better manner.
I enjoyed the teachers and the lax student body. Although the usual high school drama occurred, it was to a lesser extent than I had seen; however, the principal and vice did nothing to stop bullying from happening. The level of excellence there is outstanding and the extracurricular activities offered are catered to the artist, jock, and intellectual alike. The quiz bowl team and the debate were both highly ranked and fun programs.
Dardanelle High School is in fact an amazing place to learn and make new friends through the process. Though this high school is on a higher curricular level than many of its surrounding schools, the learning techniques used and taught by teachers and students are very useful. Everyone at Dardanelle High is able to do their best and keep themselves at a high standard to be able to learn anything compared to many other school.
