I am currently a freshman at DWCS and have loved my time at the school. The teachers have been very accommodating so far, as I am a Gifted and Talented student. Administration has been quite helpful in getting me the courses I need and not the ones I don’t. Gifted and Talented is fairly new here so there are still changes being made to the program. Because of this, my parents are not expecting the perfect program from the school. I love the atmosphere here, with its small-school feel and new facilities. Overall, a pretty good school!

I absolutely love my school, staff, teachers, and coaches! They are all more than willing to help me in any way. My teachers and guidance counselors have guided me through the process of applying financial aid. I am blessed to be a part of this wonderful school!
I have belonged to this school all of my life ince it started from 2009 in an old walmart building. I grew up with this school, watching it grow and flourish as it becomes one of the best college ready schools in the state of Louisiana. I have grew close with friends and students my age as well as being mentored by the amazing staff. We have gone through many hardships of getting the school to start, but once we did we became an A+ school and welcomed many more students and teachers to work here. I will be a graduating senior and will watch my siblings grow up with the school as well.
I would very much recommend this school to those wanting to get ready for college or play amazing sports.
