Daniel L. Joyce Middle School Reviews

The school isn’t a good school. I can tell that there has been some serious budget cuts on the school because my class hasn’t learned anything in science, English, and reading throughout the year. Also, the school is considering cutting a lot of subjects to save money. There are only a handful of good teachers in the school and the rest are mean and are unprofessional. The only good part about the school are the sports involved with it.

These people don't care about children whatsoever. The administration itself is completely unprofessional, and talks down to both parents and students. The Secretary is as rude as they come. I have myself heard the office staff speaking about parents and students that they don't like in front of other parents and students. Oh, and god forbid your child has a mental illness, don't expect for them to be knowledgeable or even care to take extra precautions with that child. Instead they've made my child's anxiety increase and when I've mentioned it, they did nothing to improve themselves. So a child with mental illness who is now uncomfortable in the one place outside of home where they should feel safe, is now one of the places they feel most unsafe. Horrible place to send your children, especially considering the middle school years are hard enough as it is.
