Dana made me feel accepted for who I am, and I’ve never felt this confident and never have had this much self-love. There’s something for every girl here. Whether you’re into athletics, visual arts, performing arts, computer science, model UN or equestrian, there’s something for you and they’re high quality. Teachers care about you and are understanding. People here are diverse, vibrant and all care about each other. There’s outstanding levels for everyone, from honors and AP to introductory. If you ever need help, there’s science, math and English lab during the day if you need help. Teachers are always happy to help you after class! It’s super safe and you can even walk to Wellesley center and get food like: ice cream, Starbucks, pizza, Dunkin’ Donuts and more, in less than a 5 minute walk!

Overall, I had a great high school experience at Dana and was very prepared for college. My biggest critics of Dana would be how funding is distributed, diversity awareness, and inadequate facilities for the price it cost to attend. Examples of this are dorms that always have something wrong or the less than super dining hall. All that being said Dana provided me with experiences I'll cherish for life and has contributed to forming my strong and independent nature. Most importantly I gained a huge community through Dana, I love my class and the bond we have and will continue to have after graduation. Also, Dana has amazing teachers, the best I've ever had and I will miss the majority of them a lot once I leave.
In the spring of 2016, I was accepted into Dana Hall School’s Class of 2020. When I received the news, I had no idea that my entire life would change. I came into my freshman year as a soft-spoken girl with real aspirations, and this May, I’ll be graduating as the well-spoken, established young woman who made those ambitions come true. I never dreamed that I would find my passions and take part in so many opportunities at Dana. At Dana, I found my niche: activism and politics.
My Dana education helped me find my purpose. I cannot imagine what my life would be like without Dana Hall. During the four years that I spent at Dana, I have developed as a student, an activist, an athlete, and a woman. Being surrounded by teachers who supported my interests and dreams helped me blossom into the young woman I am today.
