If you're a popular student, then you'll like this school; if not, you'll just have to pull through. There are various clubs and activities students can participate in. Some of the teachers here are very helpful and are fantastic with their jobs; other teachers unfortunately have no clue what they're supposed to be teaching. There are a LOT of cliches, and diversity isn't too high in this school. The administrators are wonderful, hard-working people. The environment though is secure per se, though it involves security cameras glancing at you at every hallway you go through.
Review Dakota High School
I attended Dakota High School for my sophomore, junior, and senior year. I loved the school! The classes I took were rigorous and challenging. The teachers were very helpful and always provided extra help if needed. The clubs were great and I met a lot of my friends there. The school is quite big but that is what made it all that more special.
I really like my school! In fact, I love it! I used to go to another school, Warren Mott, and it's very different from Dakota. I was at Warren Mott and in Warren Consolidated Schools since preschool, but now that I've been at Dakota and in Chippewa Valley Schools, I can definitely say that it's better. The teachers, all the staff, and students are pretty amazing! There's a lot of opportunity for us and I think that it's great. Dakota is a great school for sure! If I have to do it all over again, I wouldn't change a thing. I would even redo my 9th grade year at Warren Mott. I think that coming from another school district really allows me to truly appreciate my time at Dakota.
