Zion-Benton Township High School District No. 126 Reviews
I wish our school created a climate in which all student felt like they were apart of the school community. I wish we had more events that students could participate in such as school dances, contests between grades, movies on the lawn or in the gym, administrators and staff who appeared to care about the entire student, spirit week quarterly, class car washes, student mentors, college exposure at all grade levels, student tutor sessions, class study groups, more interest in what students want and BETTER FOOD OPTIONS!
I liked the diversity of Zion-Benton Township High School. Since my school was diverse, I was able to learn a lot about different viewpoints and cultures. Not many other schools in the Lake County area could say the same. However, I would like current students to change the way they talk to their peers and teachers. Zion-Benton Township High School has not always had the best image, but I think that if students gain respect for the people around them, the school's image can improve for the better.
Zion-Benton is so diverse. The school holds a wide range of different races and backgrounds which give the place a comfortable vibe. The school also offers a solid curriculum to prepare students for college. Classes range from advanced, honors, and AP courses. The school provides the resources necessary to succeed as an individual. There are also many teachers and staff that are devoted to their students. The only downsides are the food and the facilities available to students. These areas demonstrate the limited amount of funds provided for the school. Overall, the ability to successfully learn in Zion-Benton is possible; you just have to take the opportunities.
