I liked the family atmosphere that the school offered, and how accepting everyone was of everyone's diverse backgrounds and experiences. I appreciated the student's involvement in sports and any extracurricular activities that they were interested in, and their devotion to the group. There was also great parent involvement and everyone has a shoulder to lean on when needed. I would like to see the academics change and become a bit more excelled so it can offer student's a challenge when it comes to academics.

Ypsilanti Public Schools is a great district overall but it does have weaknesses. A lot of it comes from others not putting faith into the district. It does have dedicated teachers who care about the students and caring staff. But if there was a little more money put into the school district, I think it would be more successful.
I've gone to Ypsilanti Public Schools for the past four years of my high school experience and I've had a wonderful time. I've had time to learn in all subjects including math, music, and English.
