I love how much of a community York County is. This year has been very hard on York County, but it has also been really beautiful to see how well they come around students and faculty during rough times. My school caught on fire in early February, thus displacing thousands of students. Our surrounding schools immediately cared for us and provided us with places to continue our learning. I am truly impressed with our school board, our teachers, and our students. I couldn't ask for a better place to start and end my high school career at!

York County School Division is the reason we settled in York County. The excellent teachers & opportunities available for students are unmatched by any surrounding school division.

I want them to add foreign language to elementary schools and create in-person ASL courses, but overall—they are fantastic!
York County maintains a strong and tight-knit community comprised of many self-sufficient learners. In addition, most of the teachers are willing to help and encourage student prosperity. York High school, in particular, culminates plenty of higher-level thinkers who want nothing but to immerse themselves in knowledge. York County has great sports programs as well as respected coaches. The division could educate its students (and parents) on discrimination/racism--both overt and institutionalized. I believe that would improve a greater sense of community and it would instill more respect...
