My three sons graduated from Yarmouth and all went on to big colleges. Their college professors were impressed with their tested levels in math. They went into college at sophomore levels of classes and found college to be easier than high school. Expectations are very high at Yarmouth and can be stressful but it all pays off in the end. The schools prepare your child for the future. Hard to find such a small-town feel with such excellent education expectations in today's world. GREAT place to raise children.
It was a great place. There is a reason that Yarmouth is growing so rapidly. The athletics have improved rapidly, and the soccer team has won many state titles. The teachers are overall great and they really care about the students. I want my kids to go to a place like Yarmouth.
I have loved going to YHS. The students expect a lot from themselves, their teachers, and each other. Although it can be a bit of a high-stress environment, the opportunities that come from attending YHS are unparalleled.
