Wynnewood is a close knit community, that has experienced quite a few changes over the last few years, within the school district. In 2016, a bond was passed to, by the citizens of Wynnewood, to build a new Middle School. Another bond was passed for transportation in early 2018. With the passing of the school bond. The district has been able to make improvements in every area within the district. From facilities, Ag Dept, and band; to name a few. AP classes have been added to the high school and we are always looking for ways to improve the educational experience for our students, as well as, making sure our teachers have the tools they need to do their jobs effectively. We’ve got a long ways to go, but I feel like we are headed in the right direction. In closing, if you’re ever in Wynnewood. Stop by any of the schools and say, “Hello”, or take a tour of the facilities. We’d love to have you!! #SAVAGEPRIDE
Teachers are very helpful and understanding. The atmosphere is fantastic and you never feel left out. The student body knows each other and is there for you.
I like the connection between students and believe it is much better any other school in the county along with the bond between the students and teachers which was pretty strong as well.
