Wyandotte Public Schools Reviews
Roosevelt High School offers students many different things. We are one of the few schools in our district that participate in DECA. Many students take part in Peer-to-Peer, which is a club that brings special-education students and their peers together. RHS also has a club called Teen Task Force. It helps students with depression and helps them open up to others. Wyandotte is a great place to be when you love to get involved with your community and when you love being involved with your school.
I loved the community in Wyandotte. I always felt welcome in everything I was participating in from school to sports to clubs. Fundraisers were always a huge success in the community and the staff/faculty always did their best to prepare students for college and beyond!
So far I love the elementary level but not 100% thrilled by the middle school. Teachers are openly rude to kids at Wilson. If anything the middle school is a drawback to the district. When you have student mentors at Wilson like Ms Uhse who singles out kids because she doesn't like the parents....check her social media, should not be working around kids. Hoping high school will be better.
