Coming from a private school which I've went to all my life and transferring to Wyandotte Public Schools was a huge transition for me. In the beginning of the year, it was very rough for me. I was very shy and kept to myself. As time went by I made the bold decision to join clubs and do a sport. By the end of November I felt like myself again. My teachers helped me with going into advanced classes. My link crew leaders always said hi to me in the hallways. My new friends and I always had fun in class. Roosevelt highschool provided me great opportunities that the alternative school I almost went to would never have. Wyandotte shaped me into being a more open minded, extroverted, and kinder person. I'm very thankful for that.

Great school spirit and community. Solid athletics but average academics. The high school does a poor job of preparing students for college, and there needs to be more Ap/ college courses. Plenty of clubs and classes to choose from otherwise.
Roosevelt High School is by far one of the better high schools to have students learning. The teaching staff are amazing, the classes are just the right size and classes aren't far to reach when switching in between them. The food is decent and the sports are well maintained. Overall the school is well maintained. Glad to be graduated from Wyandotte schools.
