Woodstock Community Unit School District has been a wonderful place where I have learned to challenge ideas and expand beyond my comfort zone. The teachers are phenomenal and encourage students to come in for help or further explanation, making sure that their instruction goes beyond the 50 minute class periods. Additionally, the administration engages with the students and is genuinely interested in their concerns about the school and the students' experience.
Review Woodstock Community Unit School District No. 200
I moved here in the 3rd grade and this school system was better than my previous schools. They have always made improvements in the district and individual schools. The administration always looks for the best experience for the student and help the students reach for the goal they themselves may think impossible. In third grade, i thought i was too idiotic to succeed within the school system. Now, as a sophomore, im taking honor classes and attempting an AP course.
As a graduate of Woodstock High School, I can confidently say that I had an amazing high school experience. One of the great advantages of WHS is the large amount of honors and advanced placement courses offered to its students. I really felt that, because of these courses, I was ready for college once I graduated. Additionally, the faculty is second-to-none. To this day, I still keep in contact with my teachers. Going to Woodstock High was a great experience.
