Woodridge Local School District Reviews
It is located in a great community with friendly people. The staff is pretty good, but academics could be better. Lots of students are involved in sports and other club activities that are supported by the Woodridge parents. There is a lot of diversity and everyone is very close since the school graduates classes around 500-600 students.
I absolutely loved Woodridge High School. The community is unbelievable and my experience there has been nothing but positive. I was actively involved in more extracurriculars than I can count, and as long as students work hard and are actively involved, they will love every second of their high school experience at Woodridge. While some classes are better than others, the overall atmosphere is caring, accepting, and diverse. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
I enjoyed my three years at Woodridge highschool. It was a very diverse school who has a very competitive environment. I moved here from South Carolina and I didn't know what to expect at Woodridge as far as my academics and my competiveness and thrive for being a student athlete. Woodridge was everything and more than I could have imagined. The teachers were knowledgeable, the technology of the course work was great and my transition was feasible where I was able to maintain my honor roll status while playing the sport I love, basketball. The coaches and support staff were very supportive through out the year, not just the season. The atheletic director was always present and supportive and the community support was at times overwhelming and quite humbling. My experience at Woodridge highschool has made me realize how fortunate I am to be able to not only learn and succeed in a diverse atmosphere but it has given me the courage I need to know that I can succeed in life.
