Woodlawn School is a little piece of Heaven tucked away in a quiet, beautiful community just north of Monticello Arkansas. We have K-12 on the same campus and the small school atmosphere is the best part. I have cheered all 6 years of my high school career and have enjoyed every opportunity of being involved in my small school. The teachers know you by name and the faculty is always helpful. I will always cherish the memories made at Woodlawn! I hope to one day raise my kids here too.
Overall Woodlawn High School was a great school with a good, safe environment. There is practically no violence in our school and I feel very safe there. It is a pretty small school with fairly nice people. I was able to take medical classes and college classes online to help me work towards my goal of becoming a nurse. Although I feel like we could have had better teachers for science and math to prepare us better for college. I feel like our science program could use some work to better prepare us for the college experience. Most teachers and faculty are willing to help you with anything you need. Our counselor does a great job helping us apply for college and she helps us find scholarships that fit what we need. Overall I enjoyed my experience of going to Woodlawn High School, It is a good school.
I love the kind people at Woodlawn School District, everyone is very welcoming and understanding. With it being a small community, the people tend to come together to support one another. The beautiful thing about the school is that my fellow classmates are taught to be well rounded members of society but in a laid back and charming way.
