Woodland Park is like any other school. It is what you make of it. They have a lot of activities and chances for kids to get involved with what they are most interested in. They give you all the tools to do things that you want and it is just a matter of fact of getting involved and making sure that you are doing things that you want to so. Most of the teachers are very willing to help you with your classes and they don't want to see you fail. If you are failing it is most likely because you aren't getting the help you need to pass those classes. Woodland Park School District is changing things to be for the students. This meaning they are making it more about what we want and how to make sure that we are the most successful in high school leading up to college that we can be. They want to see us at our full potential and they want to succeed. If you get the resources needed to do that, they will provide them and they will help you achieve your goals.

Being apart of the school district since pre-k it’s been such a great learning experience with teachers that really care about the students. Something that’s a little frustrating is once you get to the high school levels there are some teachers that are not the best at teaching the subjects, don’t care or connect with the students, and are harsh graders. But I wouldn’t let that determine the overall community of the staff and students.
Woodland Park School is a great place to be in our one little town of Woodland Park, its good education for being the only high school in one town. The Athletic department could definitely use some work but doesn't every school need some work? I am very proud to have graduated from Woodland Park High School!
