Winthrop Public Schools Reviews
The Winthrop community has always been very close with one another. We all support each other through hard times which makes us all stronger. In the school district, the students, as well as the faculty, try to ensure that everyone feels safe in their environment. A friendly personal environment leads to a better learning environment.
As a parent I have noticed that Winthrop Public Schools touts that it seeks academic excellence, but in all actuality it's academic ranking doesn't prove this facade. However, the teachers are compassionate and diligent about their students' performances.
Winthrop is a town of supportive people who value education, outdoor activities, and sports. All students are treated with respect and encouraged and supported to be their best. I was able to be a three season athlete and got a lot of support and encouragement from the teachers, administrators and the community.
