Winfield City High School is an awesome place! The teachers care about their students and support any academic adventures we want to pursue. I have been encouraged to set my goals high and been given the tools to make these goals obtainable. I will miss WCHS greatly when I graduate. If I could change one thing about WCHS would be that some students are allowed to do things and given things based on who their parents are and if they work with the school systems. I do not feel that all things are given out with a non-biased decision. Although my time here has been great, I do feel I was not allowed to do things or given the opportunity to do more things because my parents do not brown nose the administration and teachers.

Winfield City Schools is an excellent school to attend. They are Steam certified, meaning they are always taking what they learn and integrating it into real world situations. They have an amazing staff that are always listening for feedback on how to improve there teaching. The schools location is perfect for a family wanting the small town experience but with a big town education.
Winfield City High School definitely has it's ups and downs. The best thing about Winfield was all of the opportunities it opened up for students. Not only does Winfield teach inside classrooms, they also take various field trips to make learning more fun. Learning at Winfield is not boring, we are encouraged in hands on activities. Not only is the learning opportunities great, the sports program is fantastic. Students are pushed to their best. Many state titles have been won and will continue to be won. Our school builds athletes that will help them into college to further their education. But, if I had to pick one thing I would change about the school, it would be to change to a block schedule. I believe students on a block schedule would succeed more because they are able to focus on a less amount of classes.
