Windthorst Independent School District Reviews

3 reviews
I've lived in Windthorst my whole life. Growing up in a small town like this one, you know everyone and everything about them. I know most of my teachers personally. I'm related to a handful of them! Overall, my experience at Windthorst was wonderful! I've made amazing friends and for the most part, my teachers helped me grow into the young woman I am today. Despite all this, I wish Windthorst was more diverse. I'd love to have teachers who weren't born and raised in the same town. Along with staff, a more diverse student body would be wonderful! I feel that a school with different cultures and religions and beliefs creates a more open and educational environment, because Windthorst is currently pretty close minded.

Five years ago, I moved to Windthorst, Texas, and it has been a life-changing experience. I have met and become friends with so many people. The staff and students are kind and friendly. Dispite moving away soon for college, I will never forget the people of Windthorst High School that shaped me into the person I am today.
There are some good teachers that really try hard to help you as well as help you with preparing for college. The teachers are always trying to make an effort to get along with everyone and make everyday exciting.
