Being a student in the Windsor Unified School District, I have had the pleasure to go to a highly ranked high-school. Windsor High School provides its student with many opportunities to excel in their education. Windsor is a very heavy populated community, however, the high school is seen as a big family. If there is something I can change, I would love to see extra funding go towards school activites for the students. Many sports lack certain equipment because another sport has the majority of the funding. Another example of this would be the leadership classroom- which I am part of- would love to purchase items and equipment that will benefit rally's and games.

Throughout my years in the Windsor school district I have been amazed at how accepting the community is. I grow to love it more and more each year. Even with this, however, we still struggle with many of our staff members. Many administration members care more about their personal image than the overall image of the school. All this aside, the school facilities that are available to us have improved immensely in the past few years alone. These areas allow students to expand their horizons, and also provide access to necessary materials. My experiences in my present and past schools in the Windsor school district have been amazing and I consider myself very lucky.
I attended Windsor Middle School and am currently attending Windsor High School. The middle school was great; most of the teachers are enthusiastic and are interested in helping their students find their interests. The 8th grade teachers, especially, are great sources for students as they are making their transition from middle school to high school. They encourage their students and help them to feel ready for the more vigorous academic rigor of Windsor High School, as well as, adapting them to the greater level of independence and maturity they will experience. There are so minor adjustments that the middle school needs to make, but with a new principle, they are moving towards change. As for Windsor High, I love it. It has provided me with an opportunity to be with peers that are interested in the same things as me. Windsor High as a great staff. The teachers are so interested in their students and work to help them understand the curriculum and prepare for their futures.
