What I liked at windom area schools. I liked how the teachers always have you back and are always willing to help no matter what, I like how there’s extra programs for student who need the extra help with their schoolwork. What I didn’t like at windom area schools, I didn’t like the way classrooms were set up, it just didn’t work for me or my schooling, the way students treated each other, it’s heart breaking hearing all the hurtful things everyone says to each other.
As an Alumni of Windom Area, I Can say that the culture of the district is very caring. Teachers care about the students and want to see everyone succeed in life.
Some of the teachers are very helpful and some are not. The superintendent tries to help the school the most he can. Our school deals with a lot of students from day to day so it's hard getting to everyone's concern that day. There is free counseling and she does a very good job. Our student services is outstanding. Our intro to education, medication and mechanics are outstanding even though those programs are new this year.
