Winchester City Public Schools Reviews

They are not very consistent. They love changing things up every year. My mother works in the school system, and she is severely underpaid. Some people have certain authorities that they absolutely don’t know how to use, or they use it poorly. Teachers are dropping like flies every year. They do, however, ensure that every child is in a safe learning environment. Coming from a school in that district, I’m happy with the benefits that they provide us, such as chrome books, free lunch (if needed), amazing programs, and just opportunities to experience a future and push us towards our own.

John Handley High school has affected me in many ways. It has shown me great pride and joy, and always something to come home too. It also has made me understand the importance of diversity and blended population. Although, it has taught me to be independent and learn for myself. Teachers at this school are more worried about acting cool then being a respected figure. They are willing to work with you at all costs, but I have not had the best experience with them and the way they've spoken to me. I need to further my education and out reach from Winchester and I could really use this money having a single mother and income.
