I have been a part of the Wilson School District for my entire life and it would be hard to imagine a life outside the district. I have come to know my strengths and weaknesses academically and as well as my other skill sets outside of school. The Bulldog atmosphere, for those that take advantage of what Wilson has to offer, is to be hard working and persevering for better. At times I did feel that for some students, if you were not a student athlete, the school had less focus on your success, but personally I am glad to be a bulldog. I would not want to be a part of any other district. Being a Bulldog has shaped me to be strong academically, mentally, and physically through the courses/classes I have taken.

The teachers at Wilson did everything they could for their students. The music teachers were always there for me from personal problems, help with college, for music purposes, and for just being a friend. I always knew that I would have a home in the music wing at Wilson High school. I received an amazing education all around but I specifically want to give love to the music department. Music is sometimes looked over in the high school. We aren't the coolest kids there, being overshadowed by sports, but we always knew that music was something worth doing. The teachers had such a passion for music and their students that you could feel their warm hearts from just walking through the music wing.,
Wilson High school is a very fortunate school as we have two buildings for our thousands of students. As a student myself, I am happy to be a bulldog as I have had many good experiences with teachers, other students, and the high school experience was not bad. The teachers are there to help you and there are so many activities to do. We are competitive in sports and very big on cheering each other on. The special education wing is very equipped and trained. So much diversity and lots of resources throughout the district.
