I've attended Wilson Co. schools for a period of two years, my junior and senior year. The school is safe. The teachers care about the students. However, there is a need for more assistance with finding scholarships and applying for colleges. The school could improve in the area of diversity. I was able to participate in an array of sports. The school setting was small, however, several clubs and activities were offered to the student body. Overall, I feel an I had the opportunity to acquire a quality education. I would definitely recommend Wilson City Schools.
Both of my children have attended and currently attend Wilson County Schools. They have received good educational skills and great emotional support during some tough times that have hit our family. There are always some things that could be changed but oeverall, Wilson County Schools does a good job keeping students safe, well educated, offer a variety of opportunities for cultural enrichment, and has good communication with parents.
