I am a senior at Willmar Senior High and I enjoyed my four years attending this school. I was fortunate enough to interact with people that had all different types of backgrounds. I had an amazing relationship with all of my teachers and they taught me both, education and personal value in and out of school.
The district is over stretched trying to cater to the slower students, to the point where the advanced classes are the same as normal, and there’s no such things as truly advanced classes. 3 AP classes in high school, no special classes in the middle or elementary. The school system lacks funding, good teachers, and good amanagement above them. These issues compound into a underachieving system, top to bottom.
I loved everything about going to willmar schools and all the diversity that is found there! You make life-long friendships and meet great people :)
