Willits Unified School District Reviews
Willits High isn't the best nor the worst school I've been to. This year we changed from semesters to trimesters which have been crazy. I feel like when I am learning in my class I am not only stuck in a classroom for seventy minutes, but I can learning three lessons in one class period! The worst part is that we have no time to review anything, so I basically have to teach myself. On the bright side, Willits High has changed it's cafeteria food choices to something more appealing, like our new salad bar and smoothie machine! One class I enjoy the most would have to be AP Environmental Science, because we actually do beneficial things in our environment around the school. Every Friday we go down to our little creek and learn something new while we are picking up trash. I believe that Willits High is moving into more hands on learning, which in my opinion is the best way to learn because I understand better when I actually get to do the things we learn. 1
Willits high school has helped me to develop my skills as a English learner. The stuff there is really comprehensive with students that not speak the language very well, thanks to all the stuff that has help me to accomplish the A-G requirements in order to move on to college this incoming year. Thanks to some Teachers there that have killed me to Open my eyes and see what I wanna do after high school, thanks to those people who Helped me through all four years of high school And who have Guide me to overcome all obstacles I’ve been through as a migrant student.
The administration needs to work on how they handle student invovlement. The teachers step up tremendously and help us students prepare for the outside world. Whether it be college or starting a job, they are there to help all the way.
