Currently, I attend Lafayette High School in this school district, and have been in this district in my whole educational career. Although I have had a few issues, this school district has been mostly a great growing environment for myself and everyone I know. The education and athletics are great, and this district knows how to keep schools up-to-date with the newest technologies and resources. It is a very safe area, with barely any violent things ever going on around the district. Overall, I would recommend the Williamsburg-James City County school district to anyone moving areas.

My experience at Jamestown High school has been nothing short of an incredible journey. From the inevitable ups and downs of finding myself, I have made life long friends through not only my fellow peers, yet the teachers and faculty as well. If I were asked to change one thing about my high school, it would be the tendency of the students to clique into groups. However, I do not believe this is a down fall of the school itself, yet the students that attend it. Overall, I am forever grateful to the Williamsburg James City County public schools for giving me the opportunity to grow personally and reach my full potential.
From living in Williamsburg all of my life, I know that our school district is a great one. Every teacher I have ever had is dedicated to helping you succeed and learn. The teachers and guidance counselors are very helpful in choosing classes and career paths. Once in the high school level, there is a huge variety of classes for each individual student and many clubs, sports, and extracurricular activities that you are bound to find something you like.
