William S. Hart Union High School District Reviews
I started the Hart High School as junior from the East Coast. It was a hard transition and I was unsure about it. The first year, I was not happy with the athletics of the track team or the art program. However, this year, I am extremely happy with the academics of the school and the time the teachers take to work with us to make us successful and feel involved. I would say that overall, the 4 stars are because I still think that there could be some work in the athletic program and art program but the academics and teachers are great!
The William S Hart Union School District is a great school district. I attend Saugus High school and this schools extremely inclusive of all their students. They really care for each and every one of their students. The academics are excellent, mostly because most of the teachers are really good at what they do. In the school district there is a huge selection of clubs and activities. Some are set up by teachers and organizations but others are created by the students, for the students. Although at my school the students are predominately white, other schools in the district such as Hart High school and Golden Valley High school, they have a very rich diversity. I am apart of the music program in my district, more specifically Blue Heat show choir. Every year we win several awards at competition which is such an honor but it is mostly because of our wonderful choir director. The teachers strive to make our high school experience the best that it can be.
As a student who has attended two high schools within the William S. Hart District, I am very pleased with the school system. Whether it be teachers or administrators, you can always find someone to help you. The District prioritizes mental health, which is as important as physical health, especially during these unprecedented times. Students have confidence in the Board because we know that they are willing to listen to us. The Board supports and encourages students to stand up for what they believe in.
