My Experience attending William Floyd School District was ok. As a whole I liked how diverse the school was with many kids and many different kinds of races and backgrounds. With a lot of students attending the high school i would say the school did pretty well in terms of its resources it had and the guidance counselors. With so many kids attending the school, there were some issues with safety with many fights and issues between students but nothing too serious. It is a well staffed school with no big complaints regarding the teachers. I liked how the teachers were very diverse as well. Overall I cannot complain too much with William Floyd School District, it was solid in my experience.
Great schools, great community. Graduation rates are up, recently voted a Top Workplace for 2018 by Newsday, Music Department inducted into the Long Island Music Hall of Fame, a great Career and Technical Education program, a STEM research program and so much more!
