Willamina high school has lots of different options of classes that you may want to take. The teachers are very involved with all of their students and always make sure they are getting what they need to succeed. The teachers are very good at showing you how to do things and teaching you as well. The food is home made and made fresh from our lunch ladies every day, and tastes excellent. As a freshman student, coming to this school and seeing it everyday has made me want to make it better. Last year I came to this school as a new kid and I didn't have any friends. Less than a day I had a bunch of friends and the teachers were making it feel like home, and I knew I would be safe. At this school, the only thing that I want to see change is to possibility change our schedule. I would like to make each class a little bit long by at least ten minutes so that us student can have more time to learn things in class. You should go to Willamina High school. It is a unique positive experience.
I like that this teachers are very approachable and easy to talk to. Most of them are very helpful and care about your success. The sports system is all messed up, with coaches often playing favorites, or even better- their kids. The school spirit is also weak, and kids dont like to be involved. The school does do a good job of helping you save money. The staff always tells you when there is an opportunity to save money on college classes or SATs.
Willamina High School is located in the small lumber town of Willamina. Willamina has some wonderful teachers in the high school that will constantly challenge you in academics but also help you succeed. Since it is a small town, community members support the students attending by donating money, and resources. Teachers are also able to create relationships with their students. It is easier to get one on one assistance since there isn’t so many students attending like you would see in a bigger city. The high school also has some pretty good coaches, when it comes to sports, who encourage a strong work ethic and dedication. What I would like to see change is possibly having some classes geared towards economics and finances to help reflect real world problems like student loan debt, or dealing with the usage of credit cards.
