One thing that I really loved about Widefield is that the teachers are there to help you no matter what. They go in and ask the kids if they want study sessions or if they need extra help. When ever I had a question all my of teachers were willing to help even if they were not in the class. The biggest thing I would change would be the certain rules for passing periods. We have 4 minutes to get from one class to another. It takes longer to get from one side of campus to the other but the halls are also so crowded. The last thing I would change would be the renovation of the school a lot of things are not up to date but it will be nice to see more new and up to date things, but not take out the sentimental structures.

Widefield district 3 is a small school district who doesn't have the funding some of the other districts have, but it is one of the best districts in Colorado. Since it is a smaller district, the teachers and administration help build a strong sense of community. I've grown here for the past 8 years, and I never would wish for a different place to grow up. They're kind, accepting, and just an overall amazing group of good people who work for the opportunities of the students.
Overall Widefield isn't a bad school, but there is room for improvement. Although the teachers care about their students success they will often give them the wrong tools to succeed. I think their teaching styles could be improved by making class more interactive. I also believe that some of the teachers could be more engaged and more passionate about their job. Teachers need passion in order to teach their students to the best of their ability. Widefield would be a wonderful school if it weren't for its lack of passion.
