Widefield School District 3 (WSD3) is a growing, vibrant community tucked away in southeast Colorado Springs. Our climate and culture give a comforting small-town feel in a big city environment. Widefield is a place you come to learn, grow, and achieve!

We offer in-person and virtual learning options. Our 18 schools include four innovation schools, a K-12 virtual school, a charter academy, elementary schools, junior high schools, high schools, and a trades school.

WSD3 manages Widefield Parks and Recreation that provides numerous community education and recreation activities for more than 56,000 people. The district also oversees the Security Public Library and has built trails and parks in our area for the citizens of our school district.

Talbott STEAM Innovation School

Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math (STEAM) will inspire students in those areas by involving them in solving authentic problems, working with others, building real solutions (artifacts), and applying their skills beyond the classroom. Talbott STEAM Innovation School offers music, a gifted and talented program, after-school clubs, and activities.
