I love wicomico county public schools. I love the staff and the kids as well. It’s such a small environment that everyone knows everyone and there is hardly any problems
Wicomico County Public Schools has some great teachers, and I would say that is the best part about the school system. They all really care about the students and that makes a difference in learning. However, some of the administrators are afraid of change I think, they don't like new student ideas or parents complaints.
I love everything thing about Wihi. The teachers are great, I’m glad they’re aren’t any stairs, and the work is intriguing. The only thing I would change about Wihi is the bathroom. They flood too often and they smell horrible! Other than that Wihi is a great school.
WCPS has given me opportunities however there are many areas the district can improve. I have gone to the schools in this district that are considered the “poorer” schools and have made it out just fine but I do wish those schools were given better attention from the board of education. Also, it is now my Senior year at Wicomico High School and I can say WCPS has done a really terrible job of making my senior year special. Unfortunately Covid-19 had put a hauls into a normal year but I wished WCPS would put their students first at this time instead of taking the easy way out.
I love the diversity in the schools. The people at my school are very involved in activities and are very dedicated to doing their best.
The teachers were great. They worked with the students and wanted them to succeed. However, the rest of the system needs a little work.
I thought Wicomico county schools were great other than the guidance office not really helping the students.
Wicomico County Public Schools are great. Each of the faculty and staff that work there strive to provide the best learning environment for each and every student. Durinhg COVID-19, a lot of teachers took the time to check up on their students and find out how they were doing. The AP professors also found time in trying to hold Zoom conferences and group chats so they can provide the best support that they can even though they aren't with you in body.
wicomico county public schools are very concerned about their students safety and welfare. i am pleased the way the county has handled the more serious situations involving our community. the school system takes pride in their students and their home lives. i currently attend wicomico high school, which so happens to be the oldest school in the county.
Wicomico County is where I have attended school almost all my life. It has been a decent experience. There are times when I think that students could be handled differently, and that some students should be punished more than they are. The academics here are alright as well I have learned quite a few things from teaches, but not a whole lot due to other students. I am a strident graduating early because I am ready to get out of High School personally it has not been the best experience for me being surrounded by multiple students who do not know how to behave. The teachers that I have had have always been very caring and hard working to help their students though which I really appreciate.
I liked the different opportunities to get involved in activities throughout your schooling. For example, in middle school you have the choice to choose chorus as an elective. If you want to continue throughout high school, you would have to tryout.
The teachers and administrators at these schools were very helpful, attentive, and polite. Most of the students did what they were told and were very respectable to all, except for a few occasions. This county is a great place to send your kids for their education.
Going to a Wicomico County Public school was great. Nice teachers, administrators, and students. The testing scores were at there finest and the teachers always made sure everything was in order. Nice learning facilities and student help was always aided. If I had to re-experience high schools or any type of schooling it would be at a Wicomico Public School. Period!
Wicomico Public schools are very diverse you see a lot of people with different backgrounds all with a story to tell all the high schools have school spirit and the sports are excellent we have some great student athletes on the shore
I am a product of Wicomico County Schools and my three children attending three different schools within the county. They all have received intense and thorough instruction while attending. The only two things I would change are better dealing with behavior issue students that impact the learning of others and would change how special education services are provided.
I am a Junior here. Overall, it is not bad but I hope that more challenging classes are offered and more money is given to the district to allow certain clubs and organizations to thrive.
I attended Wicomico County school district public schools for my entire K-12 grades. I feel that I was provided the best they could offer me as a student with a 504 plan, hearing loss and ADD. I was prepared to attend college but did lack in the understanding of course load work. The schools I attended did not make me fearful or threatened in anyway. I believe that I received a great public school education.
