WFISD is an award-winning school district located in North Texas, offering a a variety of opportunities that are as unique as our students. WFISD offers a state-of-the-art Career Education Center with 26 different career pathways where students can receive valuable, hands-on experience while in high school. We also offer dual credit opportunities, Advanced Placement, and the prestigious International Baccalaureate program.

In addition to these offerings, WFISD provides educational opportunities to our youngest through Head Start and Pre-K at several of our campuses.

There are also a wide variety of extracurricular opportunities for students through fine arts, athletics and our new E-Sports program.

We are excited to be opening two brand new high schools in August 2024. We would love the opportunity to tell you more about the exciting things happening in WFISD!

Career and Technical Education in WFISD

WFISD is proud to offer 26 different career programs at our state-of-the-art Career Education Center. The CEC, which opened in 2017, provides students with a variety of options to prepare them for life after high school. Through hands-on training, students can receive industry certifications that will set them up for success in college or give them a head start on their chosen career field.
