Whitley County Public Schools Reviews
I love my Whitley County Public Schools! All the teachers are so respectful, helpful and really care about their students. There is so much Colonel Pride at my school that its overwhelming in a good way! I wouldn't change one thing about my school.
I am a student at the local University of the Cumberlands and I have spent about 60 hours observing in the Whitley County School System. I believe that the school system looks out for the interest of the student, and not just the agenda of the school board. The teachers that I have met have been eager to teach their students, although some are burned out on the "politics" of the school administration. The students were taught well and the recently renovated buildings in the area contributed to student excitement for learning and the entire learning process. Overall, Whitley County Schools is a great environment for students to learn in the southern Kentucky region.
Whitley County has been my home for the past eighteen years. I have loved every second of my time. The teachers have been amazing. The environment is incredible and the culture is outstanding. We have more pride in our school today than ever in the past. The administration has been excellent and has continued to help push students and staff to do their best at everything they can. I have loved every second and wouldn’t trade it for anything else.
