My experience in Whitfield County Schools is overall marvelous! Every school that I have attended in this district has given me the best opportunity to be a great student and a great person. I have attended and observed several schools in Whitfield County, and in every one of them, I have seen the faculty and staff love the students as if they were their own. Whitfield County Schools always makes sure that their students get the best experience and get a great education while having fun and being safe.
I would like to make security better and have better administration. With that being said, the teachers are great and they always strive to give us the best chance for our future. At Coahulla, my school, the principal is amazing, and he makes everyone feel welcome. He strives to know our names and even greets us every day. I love Whitfield county schools, but I feels as though they should be less strict on how we dress and more strict about grades and education. About safety, Northwest should have more guidelines about who they let in. There have been recent reports about violence and drugs and I really feel as though there should be follow ups with students to see how they’re doing in school and even at school. Maybe the schools should even have an alternative school for kids with low grades. The school should worry less about our lunch balances and dress code, and worry more about who is bringing what into the schools.
I experienced bullying all through middle and high school, students were mean. There was constant fighting in the hallway. The school mostly cared about their sport activities. The Faculty and teachers were too strict!
