Whitesboro Central School District’s elementary/ middle schools’ counselors helped me deal with OCD and improve my confidence. The teachers’ extra help with the coursework helped me achieve the National Junior Honor Society. The middle school was added to the Blue Ribbon of Excellence list.
My self-esteem increased and I participated in high school activities, clubs and mentoring. The dedicated teachers helped me to achieve high honors in the National Honor Society. Two teachers received the Empire State Excellence in Teaching Award for their impressive skillsets as educators and commitment to students succeeding. One was my chemistry teacher who inspired me to pursue Biochemistry.
This district leads the way in academia offering a great foundation with compassionate, encouraging and supportive faculty. It’s exemplary in the state of New York and is definitely a positive environment for children. Students receive a valuable scholastic education and a great life foundation.

Whitesboro High School has been an amazing school with outstanding teachers and academic opportunities. The amount of accelerated and AP classes I was offered was plentiful. The staff was nothing but encouraging and helpful when I was in need. The various activities and clubs were inclusive, and all around fun! I have nothing but great things to say about Whitesboro High!
Whitesboro High School is decent, depending on who your group is you can have a good experience or a bad experience. I personally had a good experience and did very well there. You can challenge yourself or breeze on by depending on which classes you take. The majority of AP courses do a very good job in introducing you to material you will likely see your freshman year of college but do not go too far beyond that. My recommendation is challenge yourself as much as possible. Take the AP and SUPA courses, you can also take the MVCC duel credits although they are not nearly as challenging. The harder you work now, the easier college will become!
