I really liked Wheatland because of the education they provided. They provided concurrent enrollment classes through a local college and allowed me to get free college credit saving me a bunch of money my freshman year of college. I also really enjoyed the atmosphere of the classrooms, they were personable but also pushed education and presented information very seriously!
I like the environment of the school however, I am displeased with the small size of the school. With approximately only 50 people per grade level, this limits the amount of opportunities for students. For example, we are limited on sports teams such as football, lacrosse, hockey, etc. We also do not have many advanced placement (AP) classes, like larger schools in my area do. I would have liked to attend a larger school to have more academic and extra-curricular opportunities to expand my high school resume.
The time here at Wheatland what average. The air constantly reeks of cow dung and marijuana. We only have one counselor and have very little teachers at this school. While the experience was it unbearible the staff could be more full.
