Wetzel County Schools Reviews
My time in the Wetzel County School district was a great experience, I myself was supposed to attend Valley High School because of where I lived but, my parents worked full time in New Martinsville. Every year the principal from Valley would sign a waiver for me to attend school in New Martinsville. My sophomore year I got a letter saying I couldn't start my sophomore year at Magnolia, but the principals didn't except that because they wanted me to continue school with the people I've grown with. I'm extremely grateful for them fighting to let me stay at Magnolia. The teachers are great and the community is fantastic. I was out of school a lot with surgeries from an illness and the Board of Education worked with me about the Make up days. Overall my school experience was a great time.
I enjoyed my time in the Wetzel County School district, I believe they had very good academics programs but I think they need more college classes to get kids prepared. The clubs and activities need more supplies to work with but our school district was very successful in achieving an award to build new greenhouses and meat lab for our agricultural club.
Everything....Great staff, and students....great place to live....parent involvement is over the top...
