The teachers are very caring and understanding. I feel supported in my learning journey. I go to teachers for extra help often, and they are always more than willing to sit with me and fix whatever misconceptions I have. This one on one time also helps the teachers get a better understanding of where you are at, and how to help you in the future. I have taken advantage of as many AP classes as possible to get the experience I will need in college. The computer science classes have been especially helpful in exposing me to skills that will help me in the future.
Over the last year I have also gotten to know my guidance counselor better, and she has been very helpful in making sure I am in the right direction to complete my goals.

I feel the teachers in the elementary school years worked hard in teaching us and making it enjoyable. There is always a few teachers that no one clicks with and that is the case here. However, first grade, third grade and fifth grade were most memorable. Middle school was a nice change, but some of the courses seemed too easy. Other districts seemed like they were learning more challenging material. I did like the homework links section so I could keep track of my homework. Once I was in High School, I enjoyed the freedom more, but missed the online reminders from Homework links. They have Power School for keeping track of grades, but some teachers take forever to put their marks in. It is difficult to keep up with what my actual grade is. I do feel that there are some teachers that go above and beyond to help the students.
After attending Corpus Christi for 9 years, I decided to go to WHS in my hometown of wethersfield. I have never been happier, the classes were challenging and made me think, push myself and learn. The teachers were some of the best mentors, supporters and guides I have had in my educational
Career. The opportunity for growth, and experience came in forms of community service projects, world service projects, travel to distant countries, sports and club activities and an overall sense of belonging and acceptance.
