Westlake City School District Reviews
Westlake is such an amazing community! I have been able to challenge myself academically with the rigorous course options and the variety of class options. The teachers are simply the best, and I feel very prepared for college. I have also been given the opportunity through Westlake to be involved in clubs at the school as well as in the community. Our facilities are amazing, and we as students have a multitude of resources to use at any point. The parent base in the district is phenomenal and well and is always supporting the students in all we do. Overall, the school and community are anchored around the best interests of the students.
There are opportunities for our children that far exceeded our expectations. There is something for everyone. We have a child that is receiving gifted services and another that has an IEP and they have very different needs. The faculty and staff has worked so well with each of them to meet those needs, and continue to do so. We have been happy across the board with academics, athletics, performing arts, and other activities. Great school system and a great supportive community!
I first became part of the Westlake City School District in the seventh grade. I couldn't have become an alum to a better district in this world. Westlake was so amazing because of so many factors such as teachers, parents, school board, and many other people who contribute to this district. I always had someone to go to for any of the few problems I had throughout my middle and high school education. Westlake reminds me of a family and I want to see the district strive and become even better for our future generations. It is so important to have support from many different people in high school as it is a preparation for college and the real world. Westlake Schools hit this right on the nail with their students and I believe they will continue to do so.
