I really enjoyed the extracurricular classes and activities made available to students in the Westlake City School District. With such a variety of classes and activities to choose from, each student can find something to enjoy!
Review Westlake City School District
Great school for academics, sports and other extra curricular activities. Non-teaching staff treats you like incompetent delinquents, school looks like/feels like a prison, only one of the 4 supposed guidance counselors actually cares to help guide her students( and she's new). Overall Westlake is a safe bet for your kids, but if they don't stay under the radar all four years they're going to be pestered by the administration.
Westlake has a strong academic program through out the district. However, when it comes to the high school the resources are zero to none, the administration has poor leadership qualities, and the counselors and their department is not helpful.
