West St. Paul-Mendota Heights-Eagan Area School District No. 197 Reviews
West Saint Paul was a great area to grow up in. Throughout my years of school I gained many friends for life. I even enjoyed playing on the local youth hockey teams. Growing up in West Saint Paul/Mendota Heights molding me to become the person I am today. If it wasn't for the supportive community I wouldn't be able to say I have played twenty three years of competitive hockey, played some college and professional and now serving in the U.S Military as a paratrooper. The people I grew up with I still keep in contact to this day and look forward to seeing them every time I come back home to visit. After my enlistment I am excited to move back home and start my own family in the same city I grew up in, West St. Paul.
Overall the school was pretty good, I liked the way class was given and they had a pretty good sport. The problem was there were couple of teachers that were rasist and didn't care about the black students at all. Personally I would recommend the school for American students and internationals if they are willing to sacrifice some things and get over it.
It is a good district with a variety of different schools and activities, all with good and caring communities.
