West Milford High School is overall a decent school. There are a few issues with students respecting one another, and teachers supporting each student and their beliefs. The education itself was normal, with a few outstanding teachers while the others were mediocre. They offer many clubs and sports that anyone can join, and dedicate themselves to Highlander Pride. Overall, it was a good high school experience, however it wasn't a knock your socks off school.

My overall experience at West Milford Township is average. There were things which I liked, while there were also things which I disliked. I had a mixed opinion about teachers, as there were some which I will stay close to which have helped my eduction and I will remember forever. Yet there were others which only seem to care about their job and don't make a effort to help students. Most of the teachers there though were excellent though, as they prepare you for college. Another problem with the high school was the lack of the activities. It seems the only focus at West Milford is education, as there's not as much fun. Although there's tons of sports student participate in, people don't try to create fun like other schools have, such as having tournaments for sports, or academics. My school is safe, and has tons of club and activities, but I am still looking more forward to college.
This school is good in some situations, we have excellent music programs like our band and choirs and we have great faculty and staff that care about their students. I feel that this school kind of babies their students and I didn't feel remotely ready for college until the middle of my senior year. Not many students carry the school spirit of the school either, not many people care, our sports teams aren't the greatest, we don't have much diversity, and students are extremely judgmental of one another.
