I feel that Sheyenne High School in the West Fargo Public School District has prepared my daughter well for post secondary education at a 4 year university. The school is very large and diverse and there are numerous extra-curricular opportunities available for students. Based on my daughter's feedback, most of the teachers care about the students and want them to succeed but there are a select few who are exceptional. Those exceptional teachers use a variety of techniques to engage students of all learning styles, encourage them to push themselves to reach their full potential. Most AP and dual credit teachers have been great and I feel have prepared my daughter well to be an independent thinker, manage her time well, and challenge her. The overall culture of the high school is positive and my daughter had an enriching, enjoyable and productive 4 years at Sheyenne High School.

The school district is nice overall with excellent teachers and staff. Although there are complaints of certain coaches and teachers and I feel the school could better handle those situations. But as a senior at the school, I believe the legacy being left behind to younger classes is bigger than a few complaints. The environment I got to learn in is what I’m truly grateful for.
The school itself is very nice and has many opportunities in it. The students and faculty are overall pretty great. The extracurriculars offered here are great, there is quite a wide variety all year round. The curriculum offered here is great. Advance Placement and Dual Credit classes are offered to all as well.
